In a 2010 Realtor report, curb appeal remains one of the most important factors in a home sale, and exterior projects rate best in cost-effective home revamps prior to resale.

Nine of the top ten home projects on the list for cost-effectiveness are exterior fixes, including the top spot, steel entry door replacement.
